I have enjoyed using Twitter in and out of the classroom, whether it is on my free time or for blogging purposes. I enjoy using twitter because it keeps me up to date with all kinds of news I wouldn’t have heard of, since I regularly don’t watch TV. Using Twitter can be very distracting at times when in class, but I enjoy the content and feed. I enjoy being up to date with educational events and the new pages I follow for this class.  I enjoyed completing the Web Page Design assignment because it gave me some input on what it’s going to be like trying to design a website for my future classroom. I enjoyed designing the layout and the deciding on a color scheme. It was a bit difficult since it was my first time, so i wish i had a bit more experience to make it more interactive. I really enjoyed my experiences with Diigo, it was very useful when annotated and creating notes. I liked that we were able to share with our classmates what we were annotated. It allowed them to go back into the article and see which exact section we were annotating. I didn't like how the website what set up though, it was a bit confusing and seemed very old school. I would use this in my classroom if it was a bit more modernized. So far throughout the semester, I have enjoyed blogging about my assignments and my aspirations in the educational field. I have enjoyed being able to express myself and my thoughts on educational technology, it is great for those that enjoy reflection. I have learned that a blog doesn't necessarily need to be an assignment, but it can be about other subjects such as math. A useful Web 2.0 website that I would like to one day use in my classroom is the app ...

I outline different features of the website, and how I can use them with my class. There are many features such as leaving comments, speaking to parents, and giving students points for performing well.

When I first started using Twitter, I was extremely young and had only created an account because it was becoming a trend to be using the social media platform. It quickly blew up, and I began to use Twitter as a platform to update myself on current issues going on, as well as what my friends were up to. Now, I have been using the Twitter to update myself with educational topics and issues being faced through different counties around Florida. Twitter will be beneficial in my future career because it can further develop Autistic Disorder Educational tactics and I can spread the word about my research. I believe that the digital divide is currently a huge issue within schools, as those from low-income communities are not provided with the same tools and resources. Since I have arrived to Florida State, I have been able to interact with people from different backgrounds, and many have told me about the technological disadvantages they faced when in public school. Students are now ...
