I feel like I would be using data collection and reporting tools as a teacher when doing grades for my students, or when trying to conduct a "first day of school survey". I would use Excel to keep tabs of whose assignments i've already graded, in order to not get anything lost. I would use surveys most likely on the first day of school to get to know each of my students and receive information that I should know such as dietary restrictions and health concerns. I can also use surveys at the end of the year to see what my students learned in my class.

Some topics that I found most interesting in viewing my classmate's blogs is the common trend of wanting to use technology in the classroom. Although that is the whole point of this course, many of us are enthusiastic to use technology when we get out in the workforce. There really isn't anyone that says they wouldn't want to use technology at all in their classroom. We are all interested in advancing our students knowledge and preparing them for the future.

A technology-related skill that I would like to learn next is how to make better interactive games for my students. After completing the Powerpoint assignment, I am interested in learning more tricks on how to make my lessons more immersive. I am also interested in using the VR headset from the technology lab to do the Autism experience simulator. I feel like this would give me a sense of what it's like to have it before I begin my internship at Gretchen Everhart School.

I really enjoyed my experiences with Diigo, it was very useful when annotated and creating notes. I liked that we were able to share with our classmates what we were annotated. It allowed them to go back into the article and see which exact section we were annotating. I didn't like how the website what set up though, it was a bit confusing and seemed very old school. I would use this in my classroom if it was a bit more modernized. So far throughout the semester, I have enjoyed blogging about my assignments and my aspirations in the educational field. I have never blogged in the past so this is my first time doing it for a class. I have enjoyed being able to express myself and my thoughts on educational technology, it is great for those that enjoy reflection. I have learned that a blog doesn't necessarily need to be an assignment, but it can be about other subjects such as math. Daymee Sanchez September 19th, 2019 1. I have used Microsoft Word many times as a student and within the classroom as assigned by my teachers. From newsletters to making a schedule using the tables, or making a document to sign at the bottom, there are many different uses for Microsoft Word. I believe that Word is a very useful application, since many students have stopped taking notes and began using Word for notes. My teachers have printed out activities for us to do in the classroom using the Microsoft Word app. I have found Word very efficient when I'm creating a study guide for an exam. 2.
